When the iPod was first introduced, or just before, there was a backlash against the idea. In it's infancy, it was actually resented a bit! Once people realized how much they liked it, that changed.
User Comments: When I first heard that Microsoft was going to release an "iPod killer" I was skeptical and resistant to the idea. I myself was enjoying my creative player. After I got my hands on a Zune at a best buy, I knew it was something great. The user interface just felt really good. I think when more people who aren't yet part of the iPod cult get to know this other player, it might stir some healthy competition. In the end, competition is good for us consumers. I see both the iPod and the Zune getter better and better.
