Video of High speed Crash. Car seems to lose contact with the ground and then it is all over.
The greatest thing about the RX-7 is its engine. For those of you not aware, it uses a completely different kind of engine, known as Wankel.
The Wankel rotary engine is a type of internal combustion engine, invented by German engineer Felix Wankel, which uses a rotor instead of reciprocating pistons. This design delivers smooth high-rpm power from a compact, lightweight engine.

Generally everyone alive refers to that engine as a "rotary engine". It isn't exactly a secret that the Mazda RX series use the rotary engine. It's a clever and decent idea, but unfortunately hasn't been met with any great amount of praise. The RX-7 was a fun car, but rare and expensive similar to a Toyota Supra.
