Orange lamp

A hollow cathode lamp filled with barium metal. 25mA of current applied after a 125 V discharge sustains a plasma in the tube. After months of operation, some of the glass metalizes to a mirror-like surface. Thus, you can see ghostly reflections of the plasma.
