Glass vacuum chamber

This is a glass vacuum chamber featuring lots of flat ports for laser beams. Inside the atmosphere is about 1 trillion times thinner than our own. By heating a sample of Ytterbium metal inside, an atomic beam flows horizontally from right to left, hopefully interacting with the resonant green laser beam.
