A truly unusual sight in the middle of America, I happened across this old Grumman Albatross seaplane named "Flight of the Albatross." This old warbird was built in 1953 (per FAA registration) and doesn't appear to be airworthy at the current time -- she seems to have been sitting for awhile.
Of the 466 built, online information indicates that this is one of only 34 remaining intact aircraft. More information can be found by clicking here.
